All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We use Stripe Connect to route tenant rent payments to property management companies' bank accounts. We do not store credit card numbers or bank-account credentials on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
PropertyWatchdog offers SMS (text message) notifications relating to your account, such as rent reminders, payment confirmations, late-payment notices, maintenance-request updates, and important account or property announcements.
Consent and opt-in. We only send SMS messages to users who have expressly opted in to receive them. Opt-in is obtained when you affirmatively enable text notifications in your account settings and confirm your mobile number, and/or by replying YES to a verification text we send to that number. Providing a phone number for account or login purposes alone does not enroll you in SMS notifications. SMS consent is never a condition of using the platform, and you may choose to receive notifications by email instead.
Message frequency and rates. Message frequency varies based on your account activity and notification settings. Message and data rates may apply.
